There are various options you can either choose to enable or disable, based on your preference.
To go over them, go to Settings > General. Here you can choose to:
automatically open the cash drawer
automatically print your receipts
always show add ons (for example mayo with fries)
always show the product image
show the create product title
always confirm cash payment amounts
rounding cash payment to the nearest 5 cents
show the customer info on the receipt
ask permission to subscribe customers to the mailing list
have prices excluding tax
allow custom items
allow discounts
